We advocate for laws and policies relating to sexual violence to be well drafted. We also try to see that they are properly costed and resourced.

Our members initiate submissions to strengthen relevant laws and policies. We work with like-minded organisations to support each other’s submissions. We engage with the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development (DoJ&CD) and other relevant government departments, the South African Police Service (SAPS), the Civilian Secretariat for Police (CSP) and the relevant parliamentary portfolio committees. We have also responded to international reviews.
