Today’s focus is on women and children with disabilities’ access to justice.
All women do not enjoy the same access to justice. In addition to the barriers generally in place such as victim-blaming, or inadequate resources to implement laws effectively, some groups of women experience additional difficulties on the basis of their race, sexual identity, socio-economic circumstances, or disability. This scorecard examines the challenges experienced by women and children with disabilities.
